Collapsed pallets and damaged freight are causing major delays in our supply chain.

We recently had a shipment arrive with multiple collapsed pallets and damaged goods. Our usual warehouse does not have the staff or equipment to handle freight rework, so we had to hold the shipment while we looked for someone who could restack and secure it. We need a rework service that can handle collapsed pallets, repack damaged goods, and get the shipment back on the road quickly. We also need short-term storage for the freight while the rework is being done. Does anyone know a reliable freight rework provider near the Seattle/Tacoma area that can handle this kind of work?

We had the exact same issue last year and found a provider that specializes in freight rework. What I like about freight rework https://pnwwarehousing.com/rework-freight.html is that they handle everything from pallet restacking to repacking damaged goods, and they can also replace broken pallets with CHEP or PECO pallets to meet retailer standards. Their facility is located near the Port of Tacoma and just minutes from the Costco DC in Sumner, so they can turn shipments around quickly. They also offer short-term storage while the rework is being done, and they can provide redelivery once the freight is ready. Their team has experience with all types of cargo, including floor loaded and refrigerated freight. I have used them several times and they have consistently recovered shipments that other warehouses could not handle. If you are dealing with collapsed pallets or damaged freight, this service is worth a look
