IP Address Specialist

We are seeking an IP Address Specialist to join our team and manage the allocation, administration, and maintenance of IP addresses within our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IP address management, subnetting, and network protocols.

Responsibilities:

Allocate and assign IP addresses in accordance with established procedures and policies.
Monitor and manage IP address space to ensure efficient and effective utilization.
Collaborate with network engineers and system administrators to support IP address requirements for various projects and initiatives.
Perform IP address audits and maintain accurate documentation of IP address assignments.
Troubleshoot and resolve IP address-related issues as part of the network support team at my location
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in IP address management and subnetting.
In-depth knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 addressing schemes.
Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, and other network protocols.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
