Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the creation and implementation of sourcing strategies on a project level in compliance with the legislation, internal policies, good practices and business goals.Responsible for managing sourcing activities for new project development of Formulation R&D and achieving agreed milestones and key development timelines.Providing on-going oversight of cost reduction based on technical and commercial intelligence improving the finished formulation cost.Managing price negotiation and finalization for commercial supply agreements / contracts / confidentiality agreementsProvide vendor support post filing activities related regulatory queries to enable timely approvalsTimely ensuring API, RLD, impurities, excipients, raw materials and other material availability of the required quality and in the required amounts to fulfil the needs of development operations.Timely acquisition of technical, regulatory or GMP- and intellectual-property-relevant data and documentation from suppliers.Supplier development, relationship building and partnershipEnsure delivery of materials in accordance with targets to support R&D with improved customer service levelsThis role is expected to have complete understanding of market price trend for the API and other raw materials to drive continuous savingsSecure Supply and risk management, expected to be up to date on market situation and ensure security of supply by implementing various mitigation measures including timely introducing right alternate suppliers by closely monitoring the movement of both local and international supply markets.Regulatory Understanding, expected to have reasonable understanding on the regulatory requirements relating to procurement, supplier selection, dealing with problems etc. Education & Experience : M Pharm / MSc / MBA with minimum 12 years of working experience in Pharma product development and quality of which minimum of 10 years’ experience in sourcing /supply chain mgmt.Strong understanding of GMP and Pharmaceutical requirementsExcellent interpersonal skills to develop and build relationships with internal clients and engaged them on key aspects of sourcing and saving projectsProven ability to effectively communicate/negotiate with external vendors/suppliersAbility to manage multiple tasks and project simultaneously Show more Show less Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Purchasing and Supply Chain Industries Biotechnology Research and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
