_strong_Position Title: Coordinator, Security (JFK) _/strong__p__br /__/p__strong_Position Summary_/strong__p__br /__/p_The Security Coordinator provides daily coverage of the ID badging station at John F. Kennedy (JFK) Intl Airport. The Security Coordinator provides crewmember badging and access control support to all Crewmembers and Business Partners. In addition, the Security Coordinator may be asked to assist Support Center locations as needed._p__br /__/p__strong_Essential Responsibilities_/strong__p__br /__/p__ul__li_Ability to work with Visitor Management Software and corresponding emails effectively. _/li__li_Interface effectively with building management and its contract guard service to enhance overall building security._/li__li_Provide employee ID badge printing and access allocations as required by policy. _/li__li_Ability to work with and process service tickets effectively. _/li__li_Provide assistance as needed at regional support centers. (overnight travel will be required) _/li__li_Maintain liaison with local law enforcement as needed._/li__li_Ensure adherence to all Safety and Security regulations _/li__li_All other duties as assigned_/li__/ul__p__br /__/p__strong_Minimum Experience And Qualifications_/strong__p__br /__/p__ul__li_High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma_/li__li_One (1) year of experience in military service, law enforcement, corporate security, or customer service._/li__li_Must be able to operate computer proficiently in order to utilize security system programs and email_/li__li_Able to answer telephone calls and personal interactions in a polite and professional manner_/li__li_Complete fluency in written and spoken English_/li__li_Must be able to work flexible assigned shifts, including holidays and weekends_/li__li_Ability to maintain strict confidentiality_/li__li_Available for occasional overnight travel (25%)_/li__li_Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located_/li__li_Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship_/li__/ul__p__br /__/p__strong_Preferred Experience And Qualifications_/strong__p__br /__/p__ul__li_Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline_/li__li_Five (5) years of experience in law enforcement and/or corporate security and/or Military Experience _/li__li_Experience supporting CCTV, visitor management systems, access control, ID media badging systems._/li__li_Knowledge of MS SharePoint, and Office._/li__li_Bilingual (Spanish)_/li__/ul__p__br /__/p__strong_ Crewmember Expectations: _/strong__p__br /__/p__ul__li_Regular attendance and punctuality _/li__li_Will need to work flexible hours with the ability for early morning or late evening assignments._/li__li_Able to maintain a professional polished appearance_/li__li_When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft_/li__li_Organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of “Safety”, “Caring”, “Integrity”, “Passion” and “Fun”._/li__li_Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy and behavioral standards_/li__li_Identify safety concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))_/li__li_Identify and recall JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS), Safety Policy, Security Policy and behavioral standards _/li__/ul__p__br /__/p__strong_ Equipment:_/strong__p__br /__/p__ul__li_Computer and other office equipment_/li__/ul__p__br /__/p__strong_ Work Environment:_/strong__p__br /__/p__ul__li_Normal Office Environment_/li__/ul__p__br /__/p__strong_ Physical Effort: _/strong__p__br /__/p__ul__li_Generally not required, or up to 10 pounds occasionally, 0 pounds frequently.
