If you're looking to grow your career within a stable and growing financial services company, then Sagicor may be right for you!" _br /__br /__/strong__strong_ Sagicor Bank Jamaica Limited is seeking a suitable candidate _/strong_ to join _strong_our Corporate Banking _/strong_team in the capacity of:_br /__br /__strong_Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking_br /__br /__/strong__strong_ Retain, grow and acquire a portfolio of Corporate Banking clients in order to contribute to the strategic business priorities of profitable volume growth. _br /__br /__/strong__strong_ Cross-sell, up sell and retain existing business clients. _br /__br /__/strong__strong_ Manage client portfolio of borrowing and non-borrowing accounts ensuring effective relationship management. _br /__br /__/strong__strong_ Meet financial objectives related to the profitable growth and retention of individual assigned portfolio in the growth segment of business accounts. _br /__br /__/strong__strong_ Location: Kingston _br /__br /__/strong__strong__u_As A Relationship Manager, You Will_br /__/u__/strong__ul__li_ Develop individual market and sales plans in order to acquire new clients. _/li__li_ Build, advance and actively replenish a pipeline of prospective clients in order to achieve new client acquisition goal. _/li__li_ Develop needs-based sales strategies with input from appropriate company partners for all clients and prospects in order to create or increase revenue, client profitability and client loyalty. _/li__li_ Use sales enablers including targeted prospecting and pre-call planning tools in client interactions. _/li__li_ Price business and collect fees within prescribed guidelines, maintaining a balance of sales results, portfolio profitability and relationship building. _/li__li_ Maintain an ongoing sales pipeline with a minimum aggregate value and number of clients. _/li__li_ In conjunction with the Credit Solutions Manager, conduct financial analysis and recommendation of terms, conditions, pricing and covenants. _/li__li_ Prepare credit applications in tandem with the Credit Solutions Manager. _/li__li_ Ensure prompt follow-up for acceptance of the authorization and react swiftly to any problems, amendments, extensions, reporting to senior management where necessary. _/li__li_ Build and maintain a market profile in the assigned market area with both internal and external contacts. _/li__li_ Ensure any and all support from other departments of the Bank on fulfillment, client portfolio monitoring and servicing are completed. _/li__li_ Complete credit reviews, where applicable, in association with the Credit Solutions Manager within the appropriate timeframe. _/li__li_ Complete the satisfactory monthly Relationship Manager Portfolio Activity Log inclusive of documented action plans. _/li__li_ Monitor portfolio and take appropriate and immediate action to correct instances where unavoidable lending excesses occur or where collateral is deemed “out of order”. _/li__li_ Perform any other related duties that may be assigned. _br /__/li__/ul__strong_ What do you need? _br /__/strong__ul__li_ Bachelor’s Degree in Management Studies, Finance or Economics from a recognized tertiary institution. _/li__li_ A minimum of five (5) years’ working experience in the Banking industry. _/li__li_ At least 5 years’ working experience in general credit including corporate lending and loan administration. _/li__li_ A thorough knowledge of the Corporate and commercial banking marketplace in Jamaica. _/li__li_ Good networking and interpersonal skills. _/li__li_ Analytical skills and ability to assess lending risks. _/li__li_ A general knowledge of the assigned market areas, key industries and competitive positioning within the assigned market area. _/li__li_ An understanding of the commercial bank’s objectives, thorough knowledge of segment, strategies, structures, as well as its lending and deposit products and services. _/li__li_ Analytical skills and ability to assess lending risks. _/li__li_ Thorough knowledge of the Banking Act 1992, the Banking Amendment Act 1997 and the BOJ Regulations regarding Credit Classification, Provisioning and Non-accrual Requirements. _/li__li_ Knowledge of and ability to exercise best contemporary management and supervisory practices including handling difficult team members. _/li__li_ Ability to be persuasive in marketing the Bank’s products and services. _/li__li_ Strong knowledge of the Bank’s commercial lending and deposit products and services. _/li__li_ Demonstrated success with business development activities including prospects and referrals. _/li__li_ Knowledge of computer applications used by the Bank. _br /__/li__/ul__strong_ If this role is of interest to you, kindly submit an application via Sagicor's career portal no later than January 2, 2023. _br /__br /__/strong__strong_ While we appreciate all applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted._/strong_
